Modern Stay Near Paddington

My room had useful baby equipment. A baby toilet seat and step stool were nice additions. The location is very close to both Paddington Station and Edgware Road Station. Staff members at the reception was really helpful during check-in.
The provided basin in the bathroom was too small. Water easily splashed around while washing my hands. I find it not convenient that there is no dustbin in the room. Only a small one in the toilet.

There is a laundry room with easy-to-follow instructions. Laundry powder is provided, this is very convenient. A gym is also available to use, this has a good selection of equipment.

The staff goes above and beyond to help guests. I got early check-in organised and my bags were looked after post check out. Complimentary umbrellas were a nice touch too for unexpected weather changes.

The room features complete kitchen appliances. It made it easy to wind down after a challenging day of travel. The option to have essentials for the kitchen prior to arrival is useful.

The hotel is near paddington station which proved very convenient. my studio offered usb plugs located conveniently around the room. i found the laundry facilities fabulous. Payment covered washing, and drying was free. the gym was also well-equipped.
the room got quite cold. i had to request a heater and wait thirty minutes. it took multiple requests before one was brought up.

the hotel had a bar downstairs that was open 24/7, it offered pizza and drinks. nearby on the canal there were multiple restaurants, quiet and clean. i also found a m&s food nearby, it had a large selection of food.

The studio felt special, especially with the high-quality blackout curtains. these curtains were great at keeping out the morning light. i was also impressed by the fully equipped kitchen. It had everything needed for preparing small meals.
The reception area felt somewhat cramped. It got quite busy during peak times. this made check-in and check-out a bit hectic, especially with other guests arriving and departing simultaneously. i hope they find a way to improve the flow in that area.

CHECK-in proved problematic. I had to wait extended periods despite having checked in online. The lobby felt crowded and disorganized, situated right after the main door. The receptionist displayed a lack of professionalism, needing better communication skills.

some issues detracted from the stay

The room i got was not great. It felt smaller than i expected. also, i had to ask multiple times for a simple item, a hand towel. it never arrived. it made things a bit frustrating. staff seemed distracted and not really focused on helping guests quickly.
